    Did make holes in yard

    Shoes did help breakup ground with holes the way I wanted. But with a long string of days with no rain and fall season now causing the grass to brown, can’t tell if shoes can remove brown and bare spots. Would still recommend them for helping to aerate yard. If I can make a second review next spring, may be able to tell if the shoes do help the yard and post it then.

    spikes work fine but straps don't stay tight. use duct tape to secure.

    Short straps

    Seems ok. Problem with the straps. Front and middle straps are sufficient for my size shoe (9) Sketchers. But rear strap is way too short. Couldn’t even thread it through the buckle. Need to have at least one longer strap per shoe.
