Did not state anything about using the regulator. Seller replied lift green wire, do this and that. Confusing. Just state which regulator lead goes to mic element, audio out to radio and the 9 volts to the red regulator lead. They are in fact correct for non amplified mics and I spent 2+ hours communicating with the buyer assisting with the install. Please READ the instructions and follow them, not try to make up your own version. There are 5 solder joints, extremely straight forward.
