      The mat does not have anything even closely resembling the surface of the moon whatsoever and no raised moon like texture as per the header description clearly stated that that is what it was supposed to be. It is flat. Having said that I am sure it is quite functional as a play mat but just not what I expected as I had intended to use it as a base for my Space 1999 Eagle II ship display. I am sure I will find some use for it somehow...
