      You get what you pay for: worth the money!

      Time will tell but this seems to be a sturdy, extremely sharp box grater. The bottom fits on securely to keep the grated contents inside. I would not put this in the dishwasher as I never run my kitchen knives through the dishwasher but always wash by hand. This was top/highly rated by a number of sources and replaced a similarly priced grater with plastic handle sides that failed. This ones are metal so I'm optimistic it will hold up better.

      This is truly the best food grater I've ever used. I got tired of the cheap pieces of junk for sale locally, and did a google search in which, I found a group of folks who tested all the top brands for quality and general awesomeness (why am I not surprised?). Anywho, the Cuisipro Surface Glide was said to be the best so I whipped out the old paypal, stabbed some money in somebodies pocket, tapped my foot for a few minutes, and the mail dude screeched to a halt on two wheels, tossing me the cardboard box while he drifted past...... I tore open the box and grabbed a potato. This grater turned that spud into shredded goodness in no time. The only thing that concerns me is getting my fingers too close to the shredding surface, because it wouldn't take but a few missed strokes to get the ...

      Grated 1 1/2 cups carrots with ease! Much less trouble than the food processor for the small job. Also grated garlic - good, but don’t know best way to get garlic off the grater. Clean up is simple.
