After a few seconds, it warms up from your skin and "melts" nicely into your face and makes it feel velvety smooth...NOT GREASY! I'm 78 but don't look older than 65 so I'll be using this the rest of my life! I am super happy with this product but glad they "whipped" it as it's a bit hard . This jar should last me a year however, so it's all good! 10/24 :=)
