I’m a contractor/designer, and when I asked the seller about this, he poo-pooed it and told me I just need a good electrician. Very sexist. Does need a bit of work to meet UK standards - it has single insulated wires to the bulb holders, and they would be better double, plus an earth connection as it's a metal fitting, but it is amazing value for what you get, and the brass work is very nice. I kind of knew what I was buying from the pics anyhow.
