My mattress is new so it is a high one. I wanted the bedspread to be floor length. Worked out perfectly. I washed the bedspread in cold water right away and dried on low heat. Lots of lint which I expected. No shrinkage. High quality bedspread. Light weight so perfect for summer time in warm climates. Height from floor to top of my mattress is 29.5 inches.
