    Little gem on Nikon 1 series

    Funky little lens. Small and lightweight, but provides wide F1.8 and on Nikon 1 18.5mm is great for making blurry background portraits. Of course, being 1" sensor model, Nikon 1 series, it does not compete with APC-S or full frame, but if you want a small and cheap, lightweight lens to keep in your bag, I think an used Nikon 1 series small camera + this 18.5mm/F1.8 is great little combo to keep in your bag and be ready for daily street photography. And still better than your smartphone.

    Light weight powerhouse lens

    First of all, this is a lens for a 1 inch sensor system. Still, this little lens performs above its weight. It also weighs practically nothing. Good in low light too. I use it for shooting street in Cincinnati and it is the perfect nifty-fifty on my Nikon J5.
