    great phone, old school with new school capabilities

    Other than the battery life, even with buying a new battery, the phone is awesome! I've seen a lot of reviews saying that the phone is sluggish..outdated software...blah blah, and you can't use new apps...not true at all. I have downloaded everything that I had on my Samsung J3 and it works WAY better. I was even able to download apps that I couldn't on the J3 2016 model. Don't be fooled by those just trying to get you to keep on buying phones. the camera is still decent and I'm not really into social media on my phone, however I do play games and they work great!. I'm planning on staying with my S3 as long as I can. I missed it so; My last one back in 2013 was in an unfortunate accident and I just went with what I was told and 'upgraded' over and over.     Very cool phone, but weak battery.

    Very nice phone packed with features. Does everything you'de expect a smart phone to do and more like send all your personal data to the NSA without your consent. However the battery life is poor. I would recommend the phone.

    Great phone, great aftermarket accessories available

    I like my Samsung S3 so much, that I've been getting replacements for it for several years rather than upgrading. The sound and video recording quality is high. I make a lot of YouTube with it about cars and motorcycles. DE Nichols channel if you want to see how good it does! The battery life could be great but I'm a heavy user, but the available aftermarket at cheap prices for extra batteries, external chargers, quality phone covers...you can get it all for this phone on eBay to keep you going. It's one known weakness is the usb port, but if you keep your hands off it while it charges falls can't hurt the port through the attached plug in. I'm going to try being serious about that and save the port for when I do a quick video dump to the PC or need it charging on long trips...can't ...

    Great phone for a value price

    First, we are not smartphone people. Phones are phones. We use them to make PHONECALLS and text messaging. That said, we occasionally use the function of a smart phone for business contact information and mapping. I purchased this as a replacement for my wife's dead LG Viper and she is very pleased with it. It has a much longer battery life and the phone functions flawlessly. Where Viper would lock up and need rebooting, this S3 so far is fast and efficient. I have a very old LG with a slide out keyboard. I'm thinking of buying another S3 and moving into 2013 technology!
