The dpf light came on as it occasionally does so I checked my codes and coolant temp and all was in order. I must have fallen victim to the short distance trip build up with no regen. Having had cleans in the past I've decided to get a kit to do it myself and well it worked well, I didn't reset dpf adaptations after the clean and it's since done 2000 miles no issues.
