      Realistic Design

      As a collector, I think the Gungan Sub Lego set is awesome! Very Realistic Design. Takes me back to planet Naboo where Qui-Gon Jinn & Obi-Wan Kenobi save the life of Jar Jar Binks from his own people. Plus this set includes Queen Amidala. FORCE to be reckoned with this set is...Love it!!!

      Lego 9499 Gangun Sub

      There's nothing special about the sub that distinguishes it from the prior version (Lego 7161). Price per piece, at a retail price of $69.99, its really overpriced. Add to that post-retirement reseller markup, and you're paddling upstream. The draw to this set is Amidala. Sure, you can get Padme in other sets, but here you get a Queen. In all her royal finery. She's the heart of this set. Really, the way to look at it is you're buying Amidala -and I suppose Qui-Gon is not bad- and then just think of the sub and OB1 as a poly promo thrown in with your purchase. And Jar Jar as one of those extra pieces you occasionally find in the box which you don't know what to do with. So, the real question to ask yourself is: "Do I want to pay $X for Queen Amidala and Qui Gon?" The only thing ...
