      The quality of the paper is a bit cheap, like copy paper without tooth. However, it was in new condition and very good value for money. The appearance and size are as described. I would encourage you to use pencil, crayon, charcoal,and colored pencil on this paper only with one, perhaps two or three layers. There is not enough tooth on the paper to support more than that, such as watercolor or layering.

      Handy 6" x 8" Size, Adequate Quality And Over All... A Good Value!

      This is a handy size (6" x 8") sketch pad which the reason I purchased them. The size make them easy to carry and store in a satchel or backpack. These pads are economical and very practical for quick sketches and notes on location. The quality is adequate in that the sheets are not heavy weight paper and there is some possibility of bleed-through when using markers... so a slip-sheet is a good precaution in that case. Tear-out of the sheets is effortless and I've used these with pen, , charcoal and pencil in addition to markers. All in all, this pad is a good value.
