      Good product, exactly as advertized.

      Rail kit was exactly what I wanted. Installed easily after I resized by rack depth to match the overall length of the rails. This was my fault because I falsely assumed the newer rails were adjustable like my original SuperMicro rails. One other thing is make sure you install the nuts to secure the front of your server to the rack before you install the rails! (rookie mistake). Rails slide smoothly and allow FULL extension of the server for maintenance. This is a feature specific only to Rev B rails. Rev A rails do not allow this.

      Work as expected!

      Works as expected, just make sure it will fit in your rack. I was using some non-standard rack mounts and so the little metal tab on the slides stuck out a bit further than they could fit. I ended up having to file down those tabs to get it to fit, but otherwise they've worked great.

      Very good service and delivery

      As for the product itself, I love Supermicro’s servers and chassis, but these rails were poorly designed. It is very hard to slide the chassis into them, because they are very flimsy and wobble when trying to get the inside rails into them Supermicro should redesign them making the use and insertion more secure.

      UPS damaged while in delivery.

      Product arrived quickly, however the package was damaged, causing some damage to the product. Packaging should have been better than a box with 1 layer of small bubble wrap.

      These are the rails you want for the long/deep 2U, 3U and 4U Supermicro chassis!

      Solid rails. Very easy to install. These are the ones you want for the long/deep Supermicro rack mount stuff - they let you pull the server out far enough and service it while there is other equipment above and below the machine.
