I used heavy duty 10 lb velcro to attach the controller to the side of the console since there really isn't a good place to mount it under the dash and I didn't want to put it on top of the dash. It fit there nicely and isn't in the way, while being easy to reach. I don't have a trailer to hook up yet to test further, but I don't have any reason to think the controller won't work. It appears to be quality built.
