It come in a cardboard box, inside of that is a metal container wrapped in a white fabric sleeve. Inside the metal box, the tiny HO scale backhoe is packed in thick black foam with cut-outs to fit the backhoe. The backhoe itself is amazing in that all of the hydraulic parts can actually be moved into various positions. There's even a little operator figure in the cab.
