As a matter of fact, to use it the first time I had to grab it with my fingernails to pull the tip out for use. Even now, when it's time to push more of the eraser out to use it, I still have to do so by grabbing the eraser tip and pulling it out to the desired length. The concept needs fixing. I would not buy again and do not recommend.
