      Great product

      This is not a wrap or sleeve. This is a replacement grip. You undo the screws remove the original side plates and slip one side on reinstall screw. Make sure back is secure and then slip flap under notch an install screw on other side. The hand placement (like all Hogue products is great) comfortable and perfect. It has much more grip with sweaty or wet hand than original grip did. Also, cuts down on felt recoil like a rubber recoil pad on shotgun does. I highly recommend you give it a try. You'll be GLAD you did.

      Certainly doesn't fit like the others I've bought and installed!!

      This is at least the fifth such grip I've bought from various sources and installed on Ruger P89 and P90 models. This grip is just a little too large to fit into the frame as it should. After MUCH massaging, I finally got one side to lay down like it should ( more or less ). The second side would NOT lay down properly near the back of the frame no matter now much massaging and coaxing I did. I gave up after installing and reinstalling the darn thing half a dozen times and the soft rubber started separating from all the pushing, etc. Just a poor fit, period! The others I have installed lay down perfectly, so I have to question if this is a Chinese knockoff. The seller has provided manufacturer information for me to argue with them. I'm going to start a Paypal case if I can!!

      Utility, tough, comfortable. Fit great typical of Hogue.

      The P85 is a tank of a unit anyway, and these grips add a little more control to it. Extremely comfortable, fit great, and they look good. Ordered another set of Hogue's for this P85 after the first set for my LC9 made a huge difference.

      Positive Gun Control

      grip and positive control, doesn't increase grip width like the Hogue boot that made it too big for my wife, fits great in place of plastic Ruger panels. Not a perfect fit but (close) its a EDC and I doubt the assailant will have time to complain due to its awesome functioning.

      I've looked at every gun shop and they say there's absolutely no grip to replace the ugly old stock grip until I seen this and it literally fits like a glove and the grip is amazing!!!! I am in love!!! Thanks...it is perfect. Ruger needs to do a recall and replace it with just this grip only. 10 stars
