    Outstanding tool at a very fair price

    Excellent knife that holds an edge, takes an edge with a few swipes of a stone, and has easy 1-hand opening. Have had one for about a decade--HD used to sell these for $20 or so but stopped carrying this Coast knife (and the other models they carry are inferior). The Coast company itself is more expensive with shipping, if they still carry this product. I've bought 6 or 7 for spares and gifts but my original is still going strong after many years. The serrated edge is very useful for rope and tougher materials. Two locking mechanisms (can lock it open or closed) but I rarely use the button slide lock on the surface (only rely on the liner lock, which is reliable). An excellent knife with a decent blade and construction for the price, for daily use. It is a tool.
