    Sansa Fuze battery replacement

    Bought the Fuze back in 2010. It worked fine for these seven years and battery was still OK but I figured it was time for a replacement. I didn't know how to take the Fuze apart and ended up breaking all the little plastic tabs. Soldered in three new battery wires, no problem there. Got it all snapped back together but have had to use Scotch tape to hold the two halves together now. No problem there either. Gives the little thing 'character'. Works great. Battery takes charge and plays for hours. Much longer than the old battery. Wish I had bought two Fuze's back when I got this one. Sansa's latest models can't carry water for this old one.

    Great and it fits

    An important consideration is that it actually fits! I purchased one from another retailer that was supposed to fit and it did not. Other than that it works fine. Don’t know yet about battery life, but I expect it to be on par.
