The product was very securely packaged, it was contained in a plastic slipcover and then put in a very well-fitting cardboard box and than had a plastic wrap over top, with handwritten text asking the product not to be bent. I have no issues with the purchase or product, however the item was listed as new and does show signs of shelfware.
