They come with a wide selection of bolts to fit different bikes. The stays (which are thick and sturdy) incorporate a neat bend in them that means they fit around my pannier rack. Otherwise I would have had to bend them myself to make them fit. They are designed to fit up to a 40mm tyre. I have knobbly 42mm tyres and they are an excellent snug fit with a just couple of mm clearance
