My only issue was due to my not finding the instructions in time to see that the arms were supposed to be installed before the back🤦🏻♀️. My mistake. I almost gave up on the chair, because I could not disengage the back once I installed it. After a lot of frustration decided to plug the chair in and with the remote I inclined, and was able to get the arms in. Get the arms in first, then the back.
