Installed and working great. item was new and great price. I will be buying another drive from this seller soon. A big improvement from the 5400 RPM C: drive i cloned from. This drive does not have DRAM, but for my older laptop as a C drive will work just fine. Great job seller!!!!

Easy to do with windows. use command prompt and type diskpart list disk select disk # clean next type disk management at the bottom left of screen. next right click the unallocated disk/ select new simple volume and proceed to format to ntfs. done. this method uses command prompt and the device management gui.

The shipping is numbing, it is not same day as stated, took 5 business days to ship. The same day is just printing label. I wish they boxed the items instead of padded envelop. I used it in a Linux Mint box (cloned from an older 5400 RPM spinning disk), and after a couple of minor hiccups, all worked out well. I had reached out to the seller, who promptly replied with a list of instructions. In the end I did not need them, but I appreciated that they were willing to help.
