The bar does look a little small, however, when you use it you will see that it takes very little to get a good lather. The bar is solid and well compacted. I have only used it twice but I like it already. For my hair, I didn't need conditioner, but my wife's har is different and she needed the conditioner afterward. She also likes the shampoo bar.
