In fact, tent itself is more mesh than fabric! Perhaps seller confused tent top with overlaying waterproof rainfly. Still, mesh tents are basically useless for camping in any conditions other than mild. Might as well be in a mosquito net. This from first hand experience and hence the reason for returning the tent.
