I will most likely be replacing the pickup with 81 and 60 or the HetSet but the stock pickups don’t sound half bad! I’ve wanted an explorer for years because of Hetfield from Metallica and this finally filled that desire.

The guitars body was clean, no damage and no finish issues! Played pretty decent right out of box, will be giving it a proper set up (adjusting string height, truss rod, and re stringing, as well as a future pickup replacement). Absolutely recommend as a starter mod guitar, and definitely worth it as a cheaper alternative for anybody!
