It had some oil in it to also keep it from locking up during shipping whether it be hot or cold outside. Had this engine purchased for a customer of mine due to his original engine being blown. The engine got here and reasonable time. Very well packaged. Even came with the instruction manual right from Briggs & Stratton.And when I installed it ,it ran like a champ and was very strong mind you. Maybe a little pricey . But it looks good and runs good.
