This makes adding accessories to the crossbars difficult. For example, I’ve had to source shorter fasteners than the one Thule provided. My only feedback is that an additional half inch of clearance above the roofline of the car would be nice to have. Overall very happy to save $600 over a Thule or Yakima product.
