    Great detector

    I don't know anything about this hobby and neither does my boyfriend, but he wanted one so he got it for X-mas. He was able to get it together with no problem, figure out how to work it and had a great time hunting things on the living room carpet. We haven't gone hunting outside seriously as yet being the holidays. Soon. My brother has the same one and loves it. He suggested this one to me. It seems to be an excellent choice for an entry level detector. If he takes to it as I think he will, I will get another for myself. Great activity for us older generation (like us) as well as the younger. Light weight is an added good point.

    pinpointer with metal detector alarms all the time. hove to turn off to silence.

    if I knew how to repair the pinpointer so it doesn't alarm it would be ok. disappointed that the pinpointer doesn't work properly. it would make the metal detecting so much easier.
