      Uniquely one of the Finest BBQ sauces ever.

      This is in my opinion fhe best Bar-B-Q sauce's I have evert had. I received my first bottle as a gift and got hooked on its amazing flavor. Unfortunately this brand is not sold in the North East. I found my self dissapointed by the many brands of BBQ sauce I had been using as well as the few I tried after my GATES ran out. I love to BBQ and had to find find more of the GATES Oringinal Classic I received as a gift. I now have 2, 40oz bottles to keep me going for a while. The one thing I find that I'm not crazy about is that it is a little watery. It ihas no thickness like the store brand BBQ sauce so go slow and easy when poring it out of the bottle. Athough the cost is higher than any BBQ sauce I have ever purchased I had to buy more. Its that good. I guess its the old saying "You get ...

      Best BBQ Sauce on the Market

      When we were military, we resided in Leavenworth, Kansas and whenever we wanted excellent BBQ we would drive into Kansas City and go directly to Gates BBQ. When their associates see your face coming through the door they would yell, "May I help you?' and by the time you got to the counter your order was ready. Their sauce is so very good and since I live in Georgia I could never find it. But thanks to Ebay I can and I will continue to purchase it. Happy Days!!!!

      One of KC's best - there's a lot of new BBQ sauces out there but Gates is the original.

      There are two famous/legendary BBQ restaurants in KC/MO. Arther Bryant & Gates. Two completely unique sauces and both highly recommended. Less molasses - more spices/flavor - I always stock both.

      Not as good

      When I order this in smaller containers, it is slightly more diluted with a much better flavor. In these larger containers, the vinegar content is higher and the consistency thicker than I prefer.
