    Heavy duty Makita.

    Good heavy duty impact. A lot of torque and really good on the larger bolts and lug nuts. Have to be careful on automotive lug nuts because of the high torque. Just a couple hits can stretch the threads real easy. I am going to get the next size smaller half inch drive Makita impact for automotive work. I tried to just touch the trigger on a 3/4 inch lug nut and the hammer only hit twice and it was over torqued. This wrench will do the job on 3/4, 5/8, and larger bolts easy. The hammer in it is smooth and surprisingly powerful. It is a great wrench heavy duty work but too strong for automotive.

    Product arrived quickly, price was a bit less than local stores, have only used to remove car lugnuts and it worked very well, battery attachment base does seem loose, will see if it gets worse? Overall would recommend and buy again

    Absoulutely Love This Impact..Shop Worthy!

    I'm a huge fan of Makita products and have been since 30 yrs ago when I started remodeling houses. I have opened a new off-road shop where I purchase 2 more Makita 1/4 drive and now this 1/2 in drive. Everyone in the shop agrees its worth every penny I spent on it. The impact is very strong and seems to last a long time on the 5a batteries. Its so nice moving around the shop without a air hose. The only down fall to the impact is the weight and size.. weighing in at 7.5 lbs it will wear you out if used in a extensive amount of time. I would say its size is a direct reflection of its strength. Other than that we have yet to find anything we don't like about it.. even the color is nice.

    Very nice tool, high quality.

    No air line, highly portable, Makita quality (i'm still using a 9.6v driver/drill that I bought decades ago! Other name brands have quit after a few years.), and it works fine! A 3.0ah battery lasts a very long time. What's not to like?

    The Makita 1/2 impact is a brute

    As a auto technician for 38 years i have had and used many many tools have always had a makita of some type i already had batteries to fit this one and i can tell you its a brute of a tool more power than my snap on and battery life is great as well would buy again for sure
