The slider is super sloppy, and it does more or less wobble into place, and will hold the phone. Not sure I'd trust it on a motorcycle. I needed to turn the mount piece 90 degrees, and the Torx head tore out because the screw is soft. Used Visegrips on its head, and it broke off leaving the broken threaded piece flush in the mount part. Don't know if Loktite Red was used or what. I'll have to fabricate a mount now. IRRITATING.
