      Sharp, sturdy and a pleasure to use, especially for street photography.

      A classic lens still suitable for digital photography. Metal body and easy to mount on modern cameras with an inexpensive adapter. Contrast is exceptional and the 45mm focal length is great for street photography. It even has a zone focusing mark for f/8 use which provides excellent depth of field control for quick shots that you might otherwise miss. At around $200 for a good copy it represents and excellent value for the money. Highly recommended.

      My big surprise

      Fine things come in small packages. I have the much acclaimed C Z 50mm 1.4 planar t, but I love this little pancake lens even more. The photos it turns out are sharp and the color and contrast is unbelievable . The little lens that could.

      Plus and minus

      Excellent results with adapter on Sony A7RII. The only drawback is that because it's so compact, it's a bit fidgety to focus and set aperture. This is a plus and a minus at the same time – compactness doesn't come free.
