The item photos are clear and accurate for the top surface and the description warns of the pale wood on the other side. There is a lot of planer tear-out on one edge which will make the usable width less than I expected, but I've only recently started milling / surfacing my own wood, so my expectation is probably at fault. As far as I know, the value for money is good and so I'm a happy customer.
