      As advertised

      The lock was super easy to install . After downloading the app it was an easy set up and it works . This is a simple review because everything went as advertised . Your deadbolt has to be installed properly with smooth locking no hangups but otherwise it's great .The one thing that could be improved is reception distance .

      Best for its class

      After weeks of research, found this lock and read many reviews, positive and negative. Below are my findings: 1) Install easily without any tech needed. 2) Instructions lacks step by step setup and configuration. 3) Once set up, it works very well. 4) The Auto Unlock feature works at its own mind 6 out of 10 it will work, the balance will show its doing it but remains locked. Conclusion: It responded to most of my needs, will give it 8 out of 10.

      Just about perfect

      The August lock is great! It functions just as promised. I was leery because of all the reviews written. However the problems stated, has been non-issues. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating, is I feel for the money, wifi could have been integrated, so as not to purchase the wifi bridge for full use of lock. I hope this helps those contemplating the August Lock.

      Excellent smart lock

      I love this smart lock. Very useful and its features come in very handy! Quick tip, if you own an (Apple Tv 4th gen, Ipad or Homepod) you do not need to buy a wireless hub, they will work as a hub so you can operate/control the lock when you are away from home!
