      It is a case iron front axle.

      It is a case iron front axle, they're asking questions that don't apply whether it is light weight or easy to start, all I can say for me it was kinda a life saver, I mow commercially went to roll my mower off the trailer after getting home with it my front axle just snapped, caught me totally off guard, after examination of my original it looked like it had already had a minor fracture in it, by the rust it had been there for awhile, I'm glad it didn't break while I was mowing with it, looked on eBay and found this axle, after looking up the part number for my axle I had noticed to the part number superseded to this part number even though they don't list it as one of the axles that fits my mower, I have a John Deere 190c, it was a perfect fit even though this axle is different in ...
