For example it will search the bands and locate all stations it comes across, forming a searchable station list. It has an alarm and sleep timer. I prefer to use replaceable batteries but it comes with a rechargeable battery and appropriate cable. I think it's decent for the money. However, I bought it for the weather radio and it only picks up one weak weather station.
