Banjo came strung up to a lower pitch; a few turns of each button got it in tune. Could never play banjo because the frets were too far apart for me to make chords, but I always liked the sound. Have been playing guitar for 60 years. So this nice sounding, well made, guitar necked instrument does the trick. The price with no shipping was easy to handle. A++
