Haven't rode the bikes after install but they have a firm grip on the handle bars. I appreciate the ease in locking in the phone; so much different from my other holder ( it was a dial, very annoying). The quick flip of the tab locks it in very tightly. It also looks great on the bikes with its nice smooth design.
