    The part works perfectly. I broke my original plastic locking mechanism that connects to the outside door handle during installation. Luckily this came with that part! Also I wasn't positive what I bought would work with the alarm system. It does. It's so quiet now after a year of having a screaming actuator, that I can't believe it's actually locking. It is. Every time I've double checked.
