The listing photos showed it looking brighter, cleaner and more colorful. I contacted the seller who recommended airing it out for several days in a ventilated space. It helped address the smell to some degree but the darker than expected stains and overall grime remained. So I asked for instructions on how to return the rug and am still waiting several weeks later for response.
