It's so sticky I can hold it without holding it (see photo). Attached a photo of a different purchase, purple unit is smooth and not sticky, as it's supposed to be. I can't put these in my pocket without having to fight to get it out and having all the dirt and lint stuck to it. I would recommend a root cause analysis. Otherwise shipping decent, total count accurate and in retail packaging.
