I couldn't use them because the seller removed the mounting brackets before he shipped them, without the brackets they just float. But he told me I could use them for other things other than under water lights even though that's why I bought them. However he did tell me that IF I left him a good review he'd mail me some different mounting brackets that he JUST HAPPENED to have so I could use them.
