    VetriScience Perio Support Review

    I have an elderly dog who can no longer have anesthesia, and so can't have his teeth cleaned at the vet anymore. So my veterinarian prescribed this for him. While it would be better to have the dental cleaning at the vet, this works well-his breath doesn't smell bad, and I think his little mouth feels better. He goes for twice yearly vet check ups. I purchased the product on Ebay because it is cheaper than at the vet, and of the same excellent quality. I sprinkle it on his canned prescription dog food each morning- the correct measured amount. Very good for my situation, but of course should not be substituted for the regular dental cleaning in a healthy dog. Always check with your vet!

    No noticeable effectiveness...at all. :(

    We've been using this faithfully for over a month, and haven't seen any improvement in their breath, which is why the vet specifically recommended this for our kittens. (They don't have any infections or tooth/gum issues, just the bad breath. The other kitties in the house do not have this problem) We've tried it both in the water and in the food, and though they are obviously getting the recommended "dose", sadly, nothing has changed. If it had worked, I'd have been happy to give it a glowing review, especially as it's reasonably priced and easy to get. Unfortunately, it was still a waste of money for us as it's been completely ineffective.
