Great little antenna
As the title says this is a great deal band antenna. Put on on my Jeep and now on the xyl's Jetta. Both antennas arrived and need to adjustment to have a 1:1 SWR at 146.62 and works well in the 2m repeater and simplex ranges that are my primary use. UHF is also solid. Antenna is tough and has taken a pretty good beating on the front fender of the Jeep.

The only problem is the lower rod is too small in diameter. The whole antenna wanders around as I drive. I have some bigger rod. I may drill out the base and center load to accept the larger rod. What a way to save on material! Add $3 to the price and have the Chinese use bigger stock. The gain on UHF is less than a 1/4 wave spike because the antenna won't stand straight up driving 70 mph. I will give you a + on feedback, but won't encourage anyone else to buy one. I will probably give it to a fellow ham. Been doing mobile antennas since 1949. excellent dual band mobile antenna

A great antenna for the money!
I was very pleased with the installation of this antenna and with the SWR readings right out of the box! My only complaint would be that I had to modify the bracket in order to fit the mount to it. Overall the installation was easy and the results are very good so far.

Great antenna for the money .
You get what you pay for . This is an excellent antenna . Have never used it for 440 only 144 but have never been disappointed with the results . It will only work as well as your radio , but if you use it with a Kenwood , Icom or Yeasu you will like it's performance . This is my second antenna for another vehicle , so now I own 2 of them . If anything should happen to either of them I would surely buy another .You get what you pay for . This is an excellent antenna .
