    Great little sock loom.

    A lot of fun and you can make socks for special events. i made Seattle Sea Hawk socks, and found any instructions I needed on YouTube on how to cast yarn on, turn the heel and close the toe of the socks. Much easier than trying to follow directions in a book. They really turn out nice and you can create any color you like.

    Worsted Sock Knitting

    Most of the plastic knitting frames (looms) available are gauged for bulky yarn, which does not make practical or durable socks. The ones labeled for sock knitting are usually gauged for fingering weight yarn (no. 1 in current popular gauge labels) but are either non-adjustable or in fact rather coarse for this fine yarn and yet too narrow in sett for common worsted yarns. The KB Sock Loom 2 is designed for the common worsted size yarns (no. 4 in current labeling systems) and worked very well in my first tests. It is adjustable, has a 3/8 inch peg spacing that can be used with worsted or sport weight (no. 3) yarns, and is very well-made.
