      Works with the tv for which it was purchased.

      My tv is not a smart TV. After reading the entire code list and trying some with no luck I used the 9999 code and after 16 or 17 seconds the tv went off. Voila! That did it and all buttons work for that tv now. I need it for a second tv but calling Philips is not how to get a human being on the line. It's 100% recorded information. Online chat is not an option. So for now I can use it for one tv. My other remote has 3 tv controls but I can't get it working on either TV's.

      When item said easy set up and complete with manual (ha,ha,) their were no manual or program instructions!! That was very disappointing . thanks,,,,

      Great for TV use

      It does not do all the functions on my DVD player, will not fast forward or rewind. Also won't bring up the menu, but works great for changing channels and working volume as well as off and on.
