    "chianel"AF dump car.

    If I had to choose one word about Lionel AF products, it would be junk. This unit, right out of the box and with 15 feet of run time on a nice tin plate layout broke. The truck literally fell apart. I took it to my mentor and repairman, bob Bart. Carefully taking it out of the box, the OTHER truck fell apart! Over Easter, the Lionel B&O PA-1 started to suddenly stutter while running then caught fire. Lionel has no concern about quality. I have a 60 year old AF dump car that is solid as a rock and gives no problems. Lionel also builds bad couplers, I mean horrible ones. Given a choice, I would buy American Flyer Pikemaster over "chianel". What further proof? Read this month's edition of S Gaguain. Bill Clark has an article on the S gauge polar express.
