Capable of handling even damaged discs with its Precision Drive 3 system, the DVP-NC85H always delivers faithful playback. Using a Precision Cinema Progressive system, it detects pixel-level differences between moving images and static backgrounds.

      Sony NC625 DVP 5 disc

      HDMI output image is very good although not quite as good as blue-ray player but it is great for binge watching movies. Sony remote works well with it. I had to buy HDMI adapter for it so the line-out video and sound would work through HDMI connection.

      Piece of junk.

      The item was not sold as described. Does not work well without the correct remote (one received is for a CD player not DVD). When finally found a correct remote for it, the unit doesn't work. Does not read ANY dvds and 1 out of 5 CDs. Unit has no front display to show you any information as to what track, scene, or which tray is being used.

      Worth the money.

      I can't program tracks like I cAN on my CD 5 shooter but maybe it wasn't designed for that.The picture through html is EXCELLENT ! even some Amos & Andy and Burns & Allen black & white. Kinescope? Finding the proper remote was a bit of a problem. It takes 176a if you want to get full benefit of multi use.
