    The seller did all they were supposed to. It's the product I'm disappointed in. It is not long enough. I could use another 3 inches on this mud guard because when riding at high speed through less than an inch of water, water will fly past the mud guard and soak your head. And I have a 26 inch bike. I can only imagine what it must be like on a 27.5 or 29 in bike.

    Adjustable and Rigid

    This is an actual Made in Germany product, so it should last a while, as mud flaps go. It has an adjusting nut, at the mounting point on the seat tube, so it can be properly adjusted. The adjustable latch and strap clamp, is very solid and firm. The only problem is on dual suspension MTB there may be a clearance issue if there is a lot of travel at the rear wheel, you'ld have to mount the fender higher on the seat tube, which could impinge on the seat bag. A decent cost effective MTB Upgrade.

    It's 4 stars because it didn't quite work out for me.

    Product is sturdy and rigid. Quality. Didn't work for my bicycle. I have a Diamondback Insight hybrid with 700c wheels. The length doesn't quite make the coverage for back splatter. I noticed after my first ride in the rain that my bag was covered in dirt. The overall length is 20-21" (22" may be stretching it) or so depending on how you tilt it. The overall length is never included for these types of fenders. For my setup, it doesn't extend past the wheel. Frame geometry counts for these. Because of my rear rack I had to float it above the wheel under the rack. Without a rack, I may have been able to tilt it at a higher angle to provide better protection, but it wouldn't have made much of a difference because it would be so far from the wheel.     I wish you could adjust or extend it longer than what it is!

    to be able to catch all of the water from the tire not just the top part because some of the water still comes up right at the very end of the fender because it is not long enough for 26 inch tires. but it is real close, but could be a little longer would be perfect!
